On 1 Jan 2012, I retired from my old job and began my new life as a full-time fabric artist. On this site I will be sharing my fabric art journey as well as providing information and ideas for designing and creating art in fabrics and thread.
Late in 2012, I plan to add some discussions on specialty sewing, including heirloom sewing and the almost lost art of old-fashioned tailoring. I also plan on eventually providing patterns for art quilts and appliques, as well as downloadable digitized machine embroidery and in-the-hoop appliques.
